Ok, This is no walk in the park by any means. But if like me and obviously others, and you want to migrate a standard WordPress installation to WordPress MU. Below is a very nice and easy tutorial to follow.

The tutorial saved me a lot of time and frustration.

I’m quite excited to have successfully migrated my blog from 2 WordPress blogs to just 1 WordPress MU install. I had initially set up 2 blogs running on one code-base using WP-Hive, and while I’m really impressed with the hive plugin, it’s always felt more like a hack than a true trustable upgradable solution.

My weekend began with, “Migrating from WordPress to MU can’t be that hard, can it?!” Boy, was I in for a surprise. I hope this brief post will spare you the pain I went through.

Read the rest here: How to migrate from WordPress to WordPress MU | Wulf

The rest of our WordPress sites are running WordPress 2.8 or WordPress MU 2.7. So these sites should not have any major issues.

I have upgraded Xunil to use WordPress 2.8 Beta 1. So far, I am very impressed with some of the new features WordPress 2.8 has to offer.
